Nappy Headed Hos
"Those are some hardcore hos...some nappy headed hos."-Don Imus
This dude looks like a cowboy Charlton Heston who just had a stroke.
He is a sports radio/tv personality who recently made the above statement about the Rutger's female basketball team. What's even funnier about this shit is that Tittsworth has sampled it and made it into a song. Immortalizing our boy Don Imus forerver. word.

Feisty
Feist is from Canada. Usually that would make her music bad but it doesn't (sorry to my fellow Canadians who like our shitty music industry). She is also part of those indie kids Broken Social Scene, or as i like to call them; too many fucking people in one band (I joke they're ok...sometimes). Anyways this sultry songstress has been remixed by Boys Noize and its good.

calm. quiet. relaxed.
Sometimes we all need to chill the fuck out and sit down. Stress leads to hypertension, baldness, stupidity, and a bunch of other stuff I'm not willing to claim right now. So sit back and put the feet up calm down and listen.

"La Future De La Musique Francais" - Busy P
I don't mean to be repetitive with content, but this EP is too good not to mention, SebastiAn is too good not to mention. Busy P said it, the future of french music.
SebastiAn - Ross Ross Ross
SebastiAn - Walkman
SebastiAn - Walkman (SebastiAn's Werol Alkman Edit)
Pronounced Wah-lay
Nigerian born and local DC rapper Wale is coming with the heat these days. He's getting remixed left and right and getting radio play like a mother fucker. One thing to love about this dude is the sneaker obsession, sneaker heads needed a fresh rapper to represent them. With styles from straight street, old school, electronic and DC's local music; Go-Go, he's always switching it up.
Hate is the new Love.
Wale - Kicks
Wale - Studio 43 ft. Tre
Wale - They Warming Up Kane

Baile Funk
Bonde Do Role are the leading purveyors of Brazil's new cult-following status music; Baile Funk. Afew years ago, Diplo discovered funk carioca, the booming Miami bass-ish sound of Rio de Janeiro's shantytowns. "It was, like, little children screaming about drugs over a Smiths loop and a breakbeat," says Diplo "I thought it was perfect music." Bonde do Role, the first signing to Mad Decent, have a juvenile approach on the sound, pairing the biggest, dumbest samples ever with comically dirty shout-rapped Portuguese lyrics. "The joke is to be as stupid and cheesy as you can be," says MC and producer Pedro D'eyrot, "and people will buy it."
The hype behind these guys is incredible and you can tell they do not give a flying fuck.
A typical lyric: "I was at a party/And I saw a whore/I put my tongue into her asshole/And my tongue came out all dirty."
Amazing.
Bonde Do Role - Solta O Frango
Bonde Do Role - Gasolina (Radioclit Remix)
Bonde Do Role - Melo Do Tobaco (Radioclit Remix)
LES STACKS
This is the first post of Les Stacks, a blog dedicated to music and other cool shit. So, to start off on the right foot, music news is in order.
This weekend the Ed Banger records crew stopped through the 514 to fucking rock club soda down to its foundation. Complete with stage diving and the crowd randomly all jumping up on stage to party, it was an interesting show. Present were Justice, Busy P, DJ Mehdi, SebastiAn and So Me. The show was one giant mix session between those guys and it really looked like they were just having fun and partying in front of a sold out crowd. Anyways, amazing and this will start off Les Stacks.....

SebastiAn - Greel
DJ Mehdi - Lucky Girl
