Moulinex

These guys make the most intense music ever. It would rock the shit out of any party it is played at. They are from Portugal and according to their myspace:
"Luis Clara Gomes and Rui Pedro Ribeiro met each other in kindergarten, where they shared their passion for astrophysics, cyberculture, and cheerios. While Bob Moog taught them electronics, David Hasselhoff trained them to the fine art of using red shorts and made them realize why they shouldn't sing. During their childhood, they were kidnapped by Daft Punk, who kept them sedated for years with massive doses of 808s and 909s. Eventually they escaped, but those kicks and hats never left their minds."
Epic.
(By the way, this song came out before aerius light, so if anyone's biting, it's datA)

B-MORE

Everybody knows about B-More Club, but if you don't here's what it is: kicks, claps and recognizable samples. This music gets everyone hype, doesn't matter if you're a boy, girl, black, white, chinese, dead, etc... so enjoy and just dance your pain away.

Scrooge McDuck

Now, this post is all about the love that I have for the readers of this piece of shit blog. I call it a piece of shit because the text is somewhat amusing yet rarely informing. I guess the point is to expose people to music that they never would have heard otherwise. My writing style is completely informal and laced with typos. This is because I have a different approach to this project than most who embark on this long and dynamic journey through the internet blogosphere. Anyways, I thank people for actually checking it out and here's some tunes straight from the vault (not really).

Red Foxx - What You Know About Waters Of Nazareth

Daft Punk - Da Funk (Casino Inc. Amazing Disco Mix)

The Pase Rock - So Fucking Disco

Stanton Warriors - Pop Ya Cork

Harder, Better, Faster, Full Song

I know you cats who read this shit have heard the song "stronger" by kanyeezy and I'm sure you're pissed that the only full version of the song you can find has Mark Ronson fucking around on top of the track over the radio. Well kiddos here is the track un-interupted in all its blazing fucking glory. That's right, Les Stacks hooks it up.

What's Black And White And Red All Over?

I know this is breaking from the normal pace and musical stylings of this blog, but... The White Stripes are putting out a new album on June 19th called "Icky Thump" and their first single, "Icky Thump" is unbelievable. The term "Icky Thump" is derived from the Yorkshire slang term: "Ecky Thump" or an exclamation of surprise. Yorkshire is also where Jack White's new wife hails from and understandibly the inspiration for the title. Also, Jack gets political on this one, not hesitating to comment on the US' problem with immigration. This song is reminiscent of "Blue Orchid" and their earlier more agressive tracks. The album was recorded in Nashville, the city with possibly the most "ghosts" in America and after about a year of the duo being apart. That might have been for the better because this song is one of the best rock songs that has been released in quite a while.

Don't know. Don't Care. Great Song: Great Video

139 & Lennox

Yo have you kiddies ever heard the track "Danger Zone" by Big L? The rhymes in this shit are the illest that have ever been heard on wax. How ill? you ask, well...they are ill enough to make the use of the word "ill" acceptable. Of course, the content is horrifying but his wordplay reigns supreme (that's right, I said it. But you probably already knew that the kid had skill). Plus, don't we all listen to rap to be shocked anyways?

Soul For Sound

You know, today's the day for a little laid-back something something, a little funky something, a little soulful something. I recently noticed how good Outkast was (listen to their first three albums) and this song "SpottieOttieDopaliscious" is an incredible seven minutes of laid back gangsta-groove haha. Of course, there is the mandatory posting of something by a frenchman, so we have pilooski's edit of Jackson Jones' song "I Feel Good". Fuck the french are on fire, I've been listening to this song for about a month straight. Just kidding. It's fucking good though. Both these are.
